I imagined time expanding without end, and found in books the purest form of wisdom. I decided to entrust a film with my life’s story, as a tribute to the human values that have deeply nourished my soul. Only a docufilm, born of a dream and shaped by maestro Giuseppe Tornatore with Nicola Piovani’s music, could tell the true fable of a humble farmer who saw in the earth and the stars a vision of work in harmony with Creation.
